Tarsem Singh signs on for Snow White
Dark fairytale revival Brothers Grimm: Snow White has nabbed itself a director in the form of Tarsem Singh. Clearly, studio Relativity are looking for something visually arresting with their production, and with Singh having stirred up some fittingly dark imagery in The Cell and The Fall, we imagine they’ll get it – in spades. The director is coming off the back of Immortals (pictured), a sandy epic starring Mickey Rourke and Henry Cavill that looks set to dwarf this year’s Clash Of The Titans in scale and ambition.
Not at all comic book related but I had to reblog for Tarsem!
Rejection letter to a female artist from Disney
Women do not do any of the creative work in connection with preparing the cartoons for the screen, as that work is performed entirely by young men. For this reason girls are not consired for the training school.(This belonged to the grandmother of the person who put it up on flickr.)
